Reeco Automation Ltd selected as ESTnet’s ‘Member of the Month’ for August

We're excited and proud to have been selected as Estnet's 'Member of the Month' for August. August is a special month for us at Reeco as it's our first birthday!

"Managing Director Llewelyn Rees established Reeco in August 2016, having developed a passion for collaborative robots during his time working with industrial robots for many years. Since their formation the company has demonstrated rapid growth, securing key accounts with major companies including BMW. A success that can be put down to talent, expertise and staying ahead of the competition.

Marketing Manager Jessica Watts explains;

“We are the only company in the UK who do what we do, which is to integrate human-collaborative robots with current systems and equipment, which has given us an edge over our competition. We complement human skills and capabilities by ‘integrating’ the robots to work effectively with humans – man and machine working together."

“It is critical to integrate the robot so that it does what the customer needs it to do. At Reeco our team of engineers and developers programme the robots and build attachments according to customer needs, it’s an approach that has served us well so far.”

It is also an approach that has secured customers with some of the world’s leading companies, including German car manufacturers BMW. Jessica continues;

“We’re very excited about our relationship with BMW. We met them at a trade show less than a year ago shortly after launch. Since then we’ve completed one installation, and now working on a second one, with a third due for completion before the end of the year.

Created in 2011, the ESTnet is a network of technology organisations whose members design, develop, manufacture or integrate electronic and software technologies. ESTnet's associated members include supply chains and the professional services which support it. Our affiliate members provide the industry with professional services, and our academic members provide the industry with good quality graduates and opportunities to collaborate on research and innovation.

The network provides a collaborative environment in which people and organisations working with these enabling technologies can create strong business relationships, exchange knowledge and share ideas.
