The venture between the two companies follows the success of Reeco’s RB1200 Palletiser, subsequent introduction of the CP1200 Case Packer and expansion into Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), solidifying their presence within EOL automation. With the introduction of new products from Reeco, it’s believed the Lantech partnership will perfectly supplement their EOL offering, allowing for high levels support within wider automation projects.

Case Erectors automatically form, fold and seal corrugated boxes from flatpack inserts, dispensing boxes which are sealed at the bottom and ready to pack, providing packing stations with a continuous feed of pre-constructed boxes. Case Sealers come one step after the packing process, automatically folding and sealing the top flaps, dispensing square and secure boxes ready for palletising.

Lantech are celebrating 50 years of manufacturing in 2022,and have over 85,000 machines installed worldwide, which cover a wide range of packing types including; Crash-lock, Auto-lock, Tape Sealed, Glue Sealed(hotmelt) and Multi-Case systems.

Adding Case Erecting and Case Sealing to their portfolio of solutions, Reeco now have Lantech trained engineers available to support with the install and service of Lantech equipment.

Sam Fisher, Marketing Coordinator at Reeco says: “Lantech are a strong name within the industry, their long-standing presence within packaging automation is testament to the quality they produce. Having Lantech as a partner will only strengthen our support to new and existing customers, allowing us to continue our path into End-of-Line automation with the confidence that we can provide superior access to solutions.”
